The BMW Motorrad Chain Lube with Moly is an all-synthetic lubricant designed for drive chains in high-speed motorcycle applications. This lubricant contains MOLY and PTFE, providing superior lubrication performance. The easy and fast application process is facilitated by the low-viscosity consistency, which, in combination with solvents and penetrating oil, allows the product to penetrate the lubrication points effectively. After the solvent evaporates, it leaves a slight grey, non-fling film.

The lubricant is suitable for both standard and O-ring or X-ring chains. Before application, the chain should be cleaned of any loose dirt using the BMW Motorrad Chain Cleaner. The chain lube should then be sprayed sparingly and evenly onto the clean, dry surface of the chain, from the inside outward. While applying the lubricant, the rear wheel should be manually turned slowly to ensure even distribution on the sprocket and gearwheel.

After application, the lubricant should be allowed to dry for 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the outside temperature, to allow it to soak into the lubrication points and develop the greatest possible adhesion. This ensures the lubricant provides long-lasting protection against weather and wear, keeping the chain in optimal condition.
